Terms and Conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Technica Solutions, which runs famaPro. They cover the famaPro mobile app, the web portal at app.famapro.ng and this website (together, “famaPro”). By creating an account or using famaPro, you agree to them.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and forms part of these terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
• Give accurate details, and keep your email address up to date so sign-in codes and notices reach you.
• Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You're responsible for what happens in your account, so tell us straight away at hello@famapro.ng if you think someone else has got in.
• If you sign up on behalf of a business or cooperative, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

famaPro is free during early access. Features may change, be added or be withdrawn as we learn what farmers need, and some parts, such as Experts & Mentorship and Vendors & Artisans, are not available yet.

If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance. Nothing will be charged without your agreement, and you'll always be able to export your records.

You own your records. Everything you log, upload or create in famaPro remains yours. You give us permission to store, process, back up and display it only so we can run famaPro for you and your team, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may use anonymised, aggregated figures that can't identify you or your farm, for example average feed conversion across catfish cycles, to provide benchmarks and improve famaPro.

You can export your records as PDF or CSV at any time, and ask us to delete your account.

• A farm owner controls who joins their farm and what each role can see and change. They're responsible for the people they invite.
• If you join a farm as staff, the records you log there belong to that farm. Its owner can see them, along with your name and email, and can remove your access.
• Only invite people who have agreed to be invited.

Please don't:

• break the law, or use famaPro to deceive, harass or harm anyone;
• upload content you don't have the right to share, or that is malicious;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, probe or disrupt our systems, or get around limits we put in place;
• scrape, copy or resell famaPro, or use it to build a competing product;
• send spam through invitations, the contact form or feature requests.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it's reasonable, we'll warn you first.

famaPro works out figures such as profit, feed conversion ratio, survival rate and stock levels from the records you enter. They're only as accurate as those records. Receipt scanning uses AI and can misread a receipt, so always check the amounts before saving.

Benchmarks, reminders and reports are tools to help you decide. They are not veterinary, agronomic, financial or legal advice. For decisions that matter, check with a qualified professional.

When Experts & Mentorship and Vendors & Artisans launch, the experts and vendors you deal with will be independent. They are not famaPro staff. Additional terms will apply to those services, and we'll publish them before launch. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren't responsible for their content.

famaPro's software, design, name and logo belong to Technica Solutions. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use famaPro under these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

We work hard to keep famaPro running and your data safe, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, especially during early access. The app keeps working offline and syncs when you're back online, but keep your own export of anything you can't afford to lose.

To the extent the law allows, famaPro and Technica Solutions are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost harvests, livestock losses or business interruption, arising from your use of famaPro or reliance on its calculations.

Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During free early access, that amount is ₦0. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

You can stop using famaPro at any time and ask us to delete your account at hello@famapro.ng. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to stop offering famaPro. Where we can, we'll give you notice and time to export your records. The sections on your data, liability and governing law continue to apply after your account closes.

We may update these terms as famaPro grows. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using famaPro after that, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can close your account.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. We'd always rather sort a problem out directly, so please contact us first. Any dispute we can't resolve will go to the courts of Nigeria.
